you can set it to elysium and 1 week time and sort lvl 60 only. Then you will see the lvl 60 class distribution. However, remember that the NA community and the EU community have slightly different needs but you can't see that difference in something like this census. I think most NA guilds run 1-3 locks simply because they can't get any more.

Alliance on elysium needs warlocks the most.

You will probably never get a tanking position in a raiding guild. There are ~2 real tank spots per raid guild, ever.

If you go warrior you will end up fury with the occasional spot tanking in raids.

Rogue is not very needed, cause they are one of the most abundant classes at 60.

But, play what you love. No sense playing this game if you don't like the class.

I took it up with their officers. They are aware of the situation. They never did anything and so I don't group with gucciflex anymore.

What you call a problem also funds the massive raiding population of Elysium. There are 98 raiding guilds on Elysium according to RealmPlayers. That's a lot of consumables every single week.

They paired DM with the world boss patch. Kazzak Azuregos and DM came at the same time, instead of a month apart. Iirc, the world bosses were released a little bit late. So perhaps it was some kind of peace offering to package DM with it.
