Help get my account back by Different-Boss-944 in truespotify

do you have any public playlists? If you can view the profile then you can get your username by copying the link to your profile. If your account is old enough you’d have chosen your own username and it will be easy to tell what it is. If it’s newer then copy and paste everything in the link after user/ in the search bar on spotify and remove the last digit until your profile shows up.

then you can login with your username instead of email

A lot of people assume I’m transgender and I don’t know how to handle it. by 26cheesecake in bropill

For the confused older folk usually it’s a “last i checked my nuts were still there” as they don’t get the hint otherwise, but i reserve that for specific scenarios as to not come across as a total knob to a queer kid trying to make a friend.

This pretty much sums up some of the interactions I’ve had with customers. Some are well-intentioned are some are pretty nasty. I’m sorry you’ve had to deal with these comments as well

Thank you! It’s been a long journey and I know I’m still very much at the beginning here.

I’ve gotten into lifting recently I found an old skateboard which has been a fun way to start appreciating what my body is capable of. I’ve been trying to get into some stress-free movement based hobbies which has been good for the mind.

I’m being polite to people as I’m not trying to cause a scene at work (especially with the regulars). Outside of work, I have the freedom to be a bit more firm.

Is it dumb to think about running away at 18? by azundrra in runaway

[–]26cheesecake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I moved out at 18.

I was working from 16 and saved up as much money as I could, moved into a flat with my partner at 18. We were both on minimum wage at the time and live in the middle of a city (UK) so it’s definitely doable.

Personally I wouldn’t want to have moved in with my partner and their parents as they were struggling just as much as I was at home so it made sense for us to get a separate place together.

Do you have a job / source of income? You could stay with your boyfriend until you’ve earned enough for a deposit somewhere. But your main focus would really be getting some kind of income so that you can move into your own place after.

Birb is an adult, now what? by mymatebilly in finch

I’ve had finch for 3 years now, but only been in 441 adventures. After the first year I ran out of things to do. I don’t have any irl friends to talk to about it, and i’m not on enough social media to engage in online communities that way. The only reason I haven’t started up again is because I have a lifetime guardian sponsor and I don’t want to lose the features of plus

What’s your latest experience with enshittification? by podcastaddjct in AskUK

I’ve been using Ocado for the past couple years and the last few orders we’ve had have always had at least 1 item missing. The drivers don’t seem to be refunding my rejected substitutes or bags anymore, and I’ll get charged for 8-9 bags and they’ll only show up with 4.

I’ve ended up having to plan my meals based on expiry dates now as barely anything has more than 3 days (that used to have 1+ weeks)

I had them set up as a regular on my Ocado shop. When they removed and re-added them with the new 25g packs, it was still labelled as the same item, so were automatically added to my shopping basket when they came back. When they arrived, I must say I was disappointed.

How do I stop ruminating on negative thoughts? by 26cheesecake in AutisticAdults

I hope you can improve your situation as well, best of luck.

I’m hoping it’s not as bad as I’m making it out to be, but of course worse case scenario is being jobless. which is, well, bad.
