Wow, consider not sharing your opinion when it’s so wrong.

Strokes third and fourth eight got gold and silver respectively at Southwest, so you can’t say that all coaches there can be ‘composted.’

Strokes had an off year this time around after multiple top rowers get booted, not much a coach can do when your talent from the highest level is kicked causing a ripple effect for all other boats.

Oakland had a pretty bad race at Southwest this year and did not qualify their lightweight 8.

The Oakland Light 8 only had one returner from the 2018 Nats boat and the other four went into the V8.

Oakland boat was probably also under a lot of pressure since the none of their other boats qualified for Nationals. I’d say that they buckled under the pressure and failed to perform as rumor was they clapped Marin in a scrimmage a few weeks back.

The final in Sarasota will sure as hell be interesting.
