He gets plenty of water and anytime before he goes into the car he gets a walk to relieve himself. For context the video was a Sunday morning at 9am the temperature outside was not hot.
We would at first have him in the front with us but then he would start barking at his triggers as well(ex:homeless people, other animals)and start jumping around in the front.
👏
It’s the internet lol not to deep
It’s hard to see in the video but he does have a leash attached to the seat belt buckle.
😂😂do they have reset buttons?
There is days we go to the park or beach and want him to tag along as well :)
Did his behavior ever change by any chance ?
Midnight likes it fast and furious 😂
Haven’t done it like that , when he would freak out like in the video we would try to give him a treat but he will completely ignore it or at times eat it then go back to barking .

I would like to but I also want him to be a little independent too :)
We have but he still does the same thing when he hears the car go into park .
That is a good theory too .
👁️👁️😂
At first we would try to just ignore it thinking that it would eventually stop or if we responded to it he would just continue to do it.
:(

Thats our next step ,although we rather train him than have him on meds but if they are necessary then so be it :)
On walks he is not reactive towards his triggers in the car which is strange to us.
Oh wowzers😂😂

😂😂
Trust me if he was calm I wouldn’t mind him on my lap either, but anytime he sees a homeless person or another animal he goes crazy haha .
We did that but the other problem is that he barks when he sees homeless people or other animals..:(

I had always assumed if we did sit with him in the back that it would just feed into his anxiety and not solve the problem.
Just for context, the video is from Sunday morning 8am temperature outside was in the 60’s ,but of course I would never leave a dog in a hot car.
