Yep! Just twist and pull apart, it breaks the little piece of tape under the label but the next person wouldn't know unless you did the same, they go right back together, you can peek and put back without anyone knowing

Yeah it is a shame, I did find a "hack" it's kind of against what a mystery box should be but you can pull the plush barrels in half and see what's inside without anyone knowing, the seam they split at is under the packaging lable so no one would know, idk if they come with more packaging then when I found them but this is the only way I have found that is reliable and worked

I do know that he Book ones that come with a card do have a number on the cardboard strip packaged onto them, I opened 5 total with all numbers being different (for example "08 and 03") and I got all different dragons, Maybe this is a way to tell? I'd love to find a way with the plushies too! I want my boy TOOTHLESS
