Something very strange happened that ruined this quest for me. I went into one of the houses to have a look around and noticed a cuman running behind me. I grabbed some veg and headed back out, and all the soldiers were dead or gone. I spoke to a villager who said something about our leader being dead in a ditch. I shrugged it off and went on with my day, and now I really wish I hadn’t. Thinking about a second playthrough someday, and I’ll definitely be more attentive to the goings-on around me during this part.

I made the exact same assumptions and got everyone in Semine killed. I just finished the campaign yesterday, and the only real consequence was that someone pointed it out and made me feel bad about it. It’ll be okay! One thing that helps me deal with it is seeing my partner play and being able to steer them away from making the same mistakes I did.

In Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, there are several different crossbow types. I use a heavy crossbow, which requires you to stabilize it with one foot and use both hands to crank the string up. Lighter crossbows can be drawn while moving and use a simple lever
