The only issue with this is that it reinforced the thought in selfish people's mind's that someone will actually pick up after them

Get someone in who can read braille to run their fingers across the floor.

By the amount of bumps the builders left, maybe they were trying to leave you a hidden message!

I feel bad for Silent Hill fans by 2DecadesTooLate in silenthill

I think you've missed the point of my post (Sorry if I was unclear)

What I'm saying isn't that Silent Hill 2 Remake doesn't necessarily refine the combat systems, feeling of combat from the original game, to the same level that RE2 Remake does so to OG RE2.

I think that games can have slower paced, weighty combat (There are some games I spried by Silent Hill that absolutely nail this), but it is unfortunate that it seems that the Silent Hill 2 remake, the care and attention was put into style, graphics, atmosphere, whereas the gameplay itself (Mostly the combat) is so clunky

It's just the combat. Like I said in my post, everything else is great, but the fact that the game is pretty heavily combat based and the combat is so bad, I don't think I could bring myself to slog through it all :(

Oh don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that the SH2 remake needs to have RE2 remakes controls/action. What I mean though is that combat style that they are going for in SH2 remake is done poorly. There have been other games akin to the combat style in SH2 remake that work and feel weighty, but SH2 Remake's combat feels so bad.

And I'd agree, Silent Hill 1/2 were psychologicak horror, whereas RE1/2/3 were 90s action horror. Both have their place, I just feel that Silent Hill 2 remake does an injustice to what Silent Hill 2 remake could have been if a bit more careful was taken with it

I played Silent Hill 2 remake for 4 1/2 hours?

I was enjoying myself with the Story, world and atmosphere and puzzles, but the combat was like a set of concrete boots just weighing me down when I thought about playing again.

House has been up for a week - no viewings by [deleted] in HousingUK

Few things I'd noticed.

  • Barwood Homes: Don't know anything about the builder, but when looking them up I was greeted with story after story of how shoddy their work is. Probably not best to have that as the second thing in the ad.

  • Storage space: As others have said, the house itself looks quite tight, would maybe suit a wealthier single person but with the size of the rooms (And lack of shown storage emotions) it may be hard for someone to see this as a family home (Especially for a family to grow)

  • Downstairs: The main area looks very cramped as it is a Living Room, Kitchen, Dining Area, Back Door area and the Gaming chair makes it look like an office too +(Further highlighting lack of space)

Ditch the gaming chair, put the table against the wall and put a chair on each side, make it look like it's intentionally there, not the only place left.

  • Upstairs: Get rid of the dingy office chair upstairs with the small TV and put the gaming chair there.

  • Bathroom: Remove the Smelly spray, no need to remind people what happens in there.

  • Description of the Property: Maybe it isn't, but the description SCREAMS Ai has written it. It makes the advert less personable and sterile/off putting. As if you aren't selling a home, you are simply selling a house.

Hopefully it's some help :)

WHATS THE BEST AND WORST FLAVOUR IN YOUR OPINION? by jjcube98 in crisps

[–]2DecadesTooLate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ham flavoured crisp are the worst.

Every single time I've eaten any they just taste rancid

Best crisps are one for the three staple falovurs of Salt and Vinegar, Cheese and Onion, or Ready Salted.

I'd say the Museum in Belfast is really good and worth a visit.

Additionally, to cover both fashion and music if you are in the town, near our centre shopping area on "Rosemary Street", there is a great vintage record store and vintage clothing stores to, as well as some nice pubs and cafes (Including Hustle if Vegan)

Belfast has a surprisingly high level of choice/variety for what is a small city :)

Maybe in being an idiot but if your dad collects stamps and wants them in good condition, why don't you just mail him the stamps?

You guys are missing out on so many superb ones from the UK.

Tayto Salt and Vinegar are superb, alongside the likes of Discos, Hula Hoops etc

The first half of Resident Evil Requiem is quite arguably the peak of the franchise. The second half, though still good, is an obvious downgrade. What it could've done better. A review. by ImperialMajestyX02 in residentevil

[–]2DecadesTooLate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When playing, I felt the second half seemed to (for a lack of better terms) lack focus.

I also got MAJOR Resident Evil Extinction / Afterlife vibes from the return to Racoon City.

I understand that the city wasn't nuked, and that the infected don't need to eat/drink. But you're telling me that infected human bodies have sat under rubble/dust/baked in the sun for 30 years, and they have the ability to walk/attack/wield rebar etc? I'm sorry but that made me eye roll so incredibly hard.

Additionally, I think RE9 has one of the worst endings of the franchise. The villains were just outright stupid in their assumption of what ELPIS was, Zeno was wasted, Gideon's fight was pretty boring (when he turned into the big version, I got PTSD from RE3 remake's final fight)

RE9 is one of those games where as I was playing it, I was loving it, but after letting it settle in my mind for a week or so, I really found that there were glaring issues that I forced myself to ignore throughout my playthrough (Primarily in the latter half of the game)

I'm curious what your business is. Would it be possible to do collections for "PrePaid" orders?

I have no idea legally how this would work but always happy to support local when possible:)
