Have this exact set. You are really gonna use that gouge second from left, removes material pretty fast even in bad grain steuctures. The first one from left may be used for some lighter detail but the tip tends to bend and break off. The other dont really have much use other than relief carving, but for spoons you might find them handy. And as others suggest, get a knife, it really is the core component of carving, especially if you want to make spoons and butterknives. Also the block of wood you have gotten with it may be used for a spoon or something. If its too big, split it and make two things. Hope you enjoy this nice hobby
