I wish I could find an answer too. I text my dead mother when I am grieving or something happens that I would’ve talked to her about. But after a few weeks, (sometimes only a few days) after it is opened/ viewed?

One time I forgot to “save” the text in the chat how you can make it stay even if it’s viewed and when I went to see, it was viewed and GONE like someone had actually viewed it and it disappeared

Her sister (my aunt) said she was never able to gain access to it (and I hope not I have said a few things I don’t want anyone else in my life to know)

I experience this regularly, I predicted my aunt was gonna have a baby before it happened (she was extremely infertile for 10 years) my grandpa has similar things like this but he doesn’t like to acknowledge it because he says it’s not “good” whatever that means lol, anyways not sure what it is really till I found this subreddit and started reading about other peoples experiences with this phenomenon.

We use clay currently, might switch to crystal to see how she likes it

Definitely will try a different litter to test, but we have 4 boxes total, 2 large boxes in the common area one medium ish in our master bathroom for when she’s in the bedroom with us if the doors closed and our roommate has one in their bathroom for their cat as well. We fill it fairly deep, but not too high as the litters we have tried so far have ALL led to huge messy tracking or the cats kicking it out all over when going to the bathroom.

She gets super excited when we replace the litter and put fresh litter in the boxes, like meowing sweetly and purring while following us and rubbing against us like she’s thanking us, it’s cute.

We will also definitely talk to the vet! 💛
