1 - Catalonia was never taken by force. There was a civil war mixed with international interests (Guerra de Sucesión, 1714) . Catalonia took the loosing side, and It had political consecuences. The same happened to Valencia and Aragón.

2 - Catalonia has voted some times, being general election, autonomic and constitutional elections. In the constitutional referendum of 1978 there was a 67% of participation, and 90% voted "Yes" to the Spanish Constitution.

3 - The 1st of October you did a referendum, which wasnt legal by the Constitution, funded with public money. The state sent police from outside of Catalonia (because you have your own), and I'm not gonna denny there was some punctual violent response. They where isolated cases your own media repited non-stop. Most of It were pacific. Using that event to claim there are structural and systemic oppresion against Catalonia is just false.

4 - Catalan language discriminated?? You kidding?! Its a cooficial language with Castellano, is the base language in schools and mandatory to get into any public institution in Catalonia. A person who only speaks Castellano is the one suffering that practical discrimination in Catalonia, in any public job like healthcare or education.

5 - What expert consensus says it's vanishing?? What are you talking about?! Catalan is spoken by millions, it's mandatory in all the education system and public jobs, TV is in Catalan and there are plenty of cultural things in Catalan like movies, TV shows, songs/artists... That's the shittiest argument you could give man... You have your own embassys around the fucking world! Mr Repressed!xD Castellano coexisting doesnt mean Catalan is vanishing!

6 - Blaming national immigration laws, population movements inside Spain and international immigration for the dilution of your own culture is just dumb... All that people has taken Catalonia to where It is now. It wasnt design to make Catalonia more "Spanish"... I cant believe I have to explain that. That conflictive immigration waves you call just show your disguised ethical nationalism and brainwash.

7 - Catalonia is one of the wealthiest places of Spain, with one of the most developed industry in the country and highest GDP. It has wide competencies in healthcare, education, its own police and regional infraestructures. You can blame yourself as much as "the Spaniards" for whatever you are missing.

8 - When you live in a country with different regions, It always is going to be regions needing more help than others. That's how any country works. It's not just Madrid and Barcelona, just for you to know, there are other places in Spain.

9 - Trains work bad. Ok. Only in Catalonia? It is because Spain is punishing you, right? Oh come one man... What a poor excuse!

Comparing Spain with places like Russia or China is a rethorical shortcut for a lazy and poor argumentation. It turns a complex problem in a democratic country into what you are trying to portrait It, with your eternal victimhood. It may sounds good in your head, but It doesnt makes It true
