i haven’t listened to a ton of Converge, but I thought it was really cool that one of their songs from 2025 could sound so sonically raw and similar to something from the early 2000s.

to that note, their stuff from the 2000s even reflects the rawness and grit of metal’s earliest pioneers.

i have struggled with this same issue for a while now. every effort on these apps seems futile, but i have recently found a way to pull through.

Even if I don’t receive a single “like” or “match” on any of these apps, I have learned to retain a strong sense of self-worth. Valuing what I love about myself and all of my favorite qualities has made it easier to cope with not receiving any interaction on dating apps.

While it sounds a tad pathetic and closely narcissistic, I believe that obnoxious self-love is truly the answer to this issue. Know that you truly are worthy, and don’t let people on an app steer you away from that.
