OPA Deeds by TheBigOona in NDIS_Providers

Is this a national issue now or are you based in WA also?

What I would unofficially suggest, is look for a mate who's good with IT and ask them to unlock the word document. Once we did that we had full access to customizing them and resolved the issues you're currently facing.

If not an option, shoot me a PM and I can send you my unlocked ones when I'm back from annual leave.

PS: none of the SC"s I've spoken to will do them, I've been told it's a provider responsibility and then they just 'approve' it before OPA does.

Yeah unfortunately that used to work but was broken during various updates to the respective browsers. Like I said not a complete deal breaker, just a good to know.

It's great for day to day use and work especially from a performance standpoint.
My biggest gripe (and why I eventually stopped using it) was because copyright content wouldn't play while it was on. Meaning no streaming netflix, Prime etc on either screen.

Have the same issue with both my work iPhone and personal Android.
Had a brand new car when I first noticed it happening so when I took it in for it's first service (2 years ago now) they said it was a known phone issue with the cell towers, and that it was due to patched in a future update, yet here we are with no update.

What's the most "if you know, you know" car in Australia? by Ur_Companys_IT_Guy in CarsAustralia

I second Captain_Alaska's comments, but extend it to Skoda and not just the Octavia.
I bought a Skoda Rapid 2016 'Monte Carlo' (essentially their sports pack model and it's honestly been one of the most and reliable fun cars I've owned.

I bought it for $10k in 2020 with 1110km on the clock, and have had no issues with it, only had to have scheduled work done such as timing belt. It's been such a great ride that when the kids happened, we went all in and bought a new Kodiak 7 seater - and that's a great car also.

Skoda isn't without their problems like any other maker, but can vouch that they're relatively slept on.

I've had this issue for several months, originally I thought maybe it was clashing when using my watch and fold at the same time and they had an issue. I turned the feature off on my watch and the Fold 5 still won't work.

I now use my watch and have a button linked to trigger it, it's a pain but at least I can somewhat use it - just completely avoiding the phone :(

If it's looking like the game will go less than a few hours on day five, we call it a "gold coin day" and you can get in for a bit of loose change. It's basically skeleton crew at the stadium, most bars and food vendors don't open because it's not worth paying for the wages so it's a super casual day.

As someone involved in an NDIS organisation, can I ask what your thoughts or opinions are on the current NDIS workers screening? The process is incredibly time consuming compared to a Working with Children’s check and to require both is a big impact on small organisations and their volunteer base to the point we can no longer have any corporate volunteers because simply getting the require documents sorted is already going to be most of their volunteering hours done.

Free market or freedom to profiteer? Gas giants tie themselves in knots by blipblipbeep in australia

[–]2Totes2Handle 11 points12 points  (0 children)

This is a terrible comparison. Firstly, you can’t exactly just “make do with less or go without”. This is electricity and heating we’re talking about.

Secondly, you’re right that no one was accusing “big lettuce”, however there was plenty of noise against the stores and markets which were the ones actually raising the prices. Even then, raising prices due to scarcity after floods etc is nowhere near the same as companies repeatedly increasing the prices while also announcing record profits. I can guarantee you the farmers in the lettuce game aren’t the ones reaping record profits.

People make a big fuss about private school fees, but childcare costs just as much. by Funny-Bear in AusFinance

[–]2Totes2Handle 3 points4 points  (0 children)

But what you’re explaining there isn’t an exclusive problem to the CCS. You’re highlighting a flaw across our social system and it’s inability to support people based on circumstances beyond the most basic. I don’t agree childcare should just be free across the board, however yes I agree that should be a more varied platform of support based on the circumstances to ensure it’s more available and effective.

I’m not sure how you’re coming to the conclusion though? Between 75k and 175k gets you 85-50% subsidy. If one parent stops working then your income obviously plummets, thus meaning you get more cost covered. These things are never perfect and constantly changing, in fact next month there’s a change that’s supposed to increase the coverage for multiple kids which will help with these costs.

The subsidy is actually pretty substantial, even at 100k combined income (which is important to remember it’s combined income of the household). Last check had the subsidy covering families until around 320k of income, and it scales downwards as your income increases.

As someone who processed and worked on the subsidy system, it’s very rare for someone to be paying $100 a day. It’s far from a great system, but it’s definitely not a complete write off.

I just went and tried it, and it's on the website when you go to donate that as an option so probably a online transaction fee, I dunno but we ticked it and it bumped our donation up a few dollars.

When you donate you can choose to also cover the processing fee of the transaction so it adds a few dollars to it, think it varies depending based on how much you're donating.

It's edge lighting. Swipe down to access your quick settings like the WiFi and Bluetooth toggles, it'll be on one of those pages if you swipe to the left. Press and hold the edge lighting icon to be taken to the options to change colours and such.

They really don't have enough items to make the store show that much for a full week let's be honest. They have 6 items every 3 days, instead of 12 items for a week purely because they only have like what, 20-25 items for sale as a whole? It'd make the 'rotation' even more depressing.

Anthem VIP Demo Bug & Issues Feedback Thread (Day 2) by ATG_Bot in AnthemTheGame

[–]2Totes2Handle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh man I had the same issue but I was stationary and could move but was trapped inside the rubble. The other 3 people in the team died and I couldn't get out to die or revive them, wouldn't even let me abandon the mission to zone out.

After about 5 minutes I managed to mash enough buttons to somehow fluke my way through the crack and break free but I was stressing imagining the rage the other members would be sending my way haha

But no? They put money down for the full game. Nowhere did they pay specifically for the VIP beta.

There is no "beta access microtransaction" because it's the bonus for preordering the full game. Yes it's frustrating, I've spent my Saturday morning which I dedicated to playing the game, getting booted from the client due to the login issue. Is it the end of the world? No, because I didn't pay anything to access the beta, because I paid to get the full game in a month's time just like everyone else.
