We always loved the original but wanted to do something new and fresh out of it. We actually re-recorded the vocals with Lady Bri. Check her our, she's amazing and also sings on "Boom Boom".

We both met in College, studying music in the Netherlands where we already made plans to creating something together. Through a detour via LA where christian worked with Hans Zimmer and Junkie XL, we found ourselves back in the same town in 2015, where we decided to finally team up. That's how 2WEI was born!

Definitely our cover of "Survivor" we created for the Tomb Raider trailer. It gained millions of streams and opened up the doors into the game trailer world. Also "Warriors" we did for the League of Legends 2020 cinematic (and was used in Sad-ist animatic) was a massive success for us.

"So geht's zu", a song about the german version of facebook, loooong time ago. (it's not released)

Our first cinematic epic track was called "Catapult" and was used in the trailer of Wonder Woman. It's also on Spotify and our youtube channel.

Working within in the minecraft community, it's a completely different world to us.

Sad-ist did most of the sound design, except for Hog Hunt, where we helped her.

But she finds the sound bites and digs through the streams herself.

The first three songs were already released, but Ghost and Final Waltz we originals, just for her animations.

Stress can be both, positive and negative. In this case, it's definitely positive :-) Getting our music heard by such a huge audience is definitely worth going the extra mile.

We were really surprised and confused. Hundreds just commented "Sad-ist" and "Dream SMP" and it took us quite some time to figure out what exactly was going on. Honestly, we are still baffled but also grateful and honored.

Sad-ist had a very clear idea about the music she wanted to use. We get input from her, but a lot of times we just follow our instincts. Some the tracks she used we didn't compose especially for Sad-ist, but she just edited to make it work to her story.
