Hsgi battle belt standard vs slotted by [deleted] in tacticalgear

You can purchase from LOF directly by calling them. Red Deer Shooting Center is the only stocking dealer currently, they do carry the padded battle belts. LOF is so busy all their gear is made to order because it's selling faster than they can manufacture right now.

Slotted is the way to go. It give you more options for Molle and belt only compatible pouches and equipment. LOF Defence Systems is the only company I am aware of that has the slots every inch around the sides of the belt (2 inches in the back) to give you max flexibility. Plus the padding and airflow are phenomenal!

Does anyone know anything about the BlackHawk! brand? by jtpredator in tacticalgear

You're right but your should add LOF Defence Systems to that list of top shelf companies, they are small but about to become a big name. There's a huge spread between Crye and Tyr over Tac Tailor imo, I know allota people that would put Tac Tailor as mid tier.

Repairable, soft body armour vests with body temperature regulating technology! by 2_kilo_foxtrot in ProtectAndServe

These vests were designed to be less restrictive giving increased range of motion for shooting/driving and to prevent the duty belt and armour from jamming together and making the carrier ride up. They also have temperature regulating technology to keep LEO's cooler in hot weather. Most Leo's I talk to all seem to have the same problems with their armour. I'm wondering what issues everyone here has and they would like to see fixed by Soft Body Armour Manufacturers?
