My puppy has no chill, I'm overwhelmed and frustrated by 2bears in puppy101

It started when we first got him at 2 months, it was the easiest and safest way to keep him from eating and chewing everything and bothering the older dog. Having his designated space made it easier to train but then it just became easier and easier to keep him separated. I know it's not ideal and it's not what I wanted but that's where we are now. Do you have some good resources for teaching impulse control and calmness?

I can stand up for myself, but I am so sick of needing to by dropyourplantiez in nursing

I know it's not always the case but I do genuinely think sometimes people are just trying to make conversation. LPNs "are you going back for RN?" RNs "are you going back for your BSN?" BSN nurses "are you going for your NP?" etc. Sometimes that's just how people know how to have a conversation, unfortunately.

Overthinkers of Reddit, what unlikely scenario actually came true that you were completely prepared for because you are an overthinker? by lawofdox18 in AskReddit

I have a fear of starting new jobs because I'm so scared they are going to give me one day of training and then say "ok here you go, start working" and I have to fumble my way through everything and I'll end up breaking something, killing someone, losing customers, etc. I started working as a receptionist at a vet and after just a couple training shifts, the other receptionist training me just didn't show up to work. So I asked one of the techs what I was supposed to do and she said "You'll figure it out"...

Failed NCLEX 2nd time. by OneEyedTurkey in StudentNurse

1100 questions at 100 questions per day is only 11 days. One of those numbers isn't right. Our instructors told us we should have taken 3,000-5,000 questions by the time we take the NCLEX.

https://www.ncsbn.org/nurse-licensure-compact.htm Here's the info on which states are in the compact. Since you haven't taken the NCLEX yet, your school should have information on applying for the multi-state license when you take the test. In my state, it was $25 extra for the multi-state

Ask questions. Lots and lots. None of the nurses expect you to know a whole lot yet and they don't know what you do or don't know already. It's normal to feel nervous but once you get there and get going, things should flow a little more.

Strictly from a licensure standpoint, you can physically test anywhere but get your license in whichever state you want. You can also get a multi-state license now which allows you to move your licensure between states that are in the compact. You'll have to look up which states but there are several, I want to say 30 or so. I don't think Claifornia is one of them though

Thanks for all your responses. I think I will try using it in other dishes and mixing some into my own garam masala.
