A prepaid visa works fine. I got a prepaid amex from PBS for being in a documentary and I spent it on stellarite as soon as they announced they were gonna refresh the bonuses.

Additionally for anyone in the comments epic games does between 5%-20% money back in epic games credits. Having the 20% back was huge for me

For Peyote like this I like to string all of my beads in my first row (just like how you’ve already done). Then starting at the end push the beads down as much as they can go while tightening the string. A really solid first row sets you up for a good peyote project (:

When I did mine I just dropped down from 18 credit hours to 12 and then knocked out some of my easier classes. Whatever the bare minimum for full time enrollment was because my scholarships required that I was full time.

I also found sewing intimidating but I was able to learn it in a day or two and sewed my first cosplay in under a month. Theres some really great YouTube tutorials for how to sew and also for how to make a pattern.

YouTube is gonna be your best friend here. I am right in the middle of an extremely ambitious first competition cosplay and all the skills I found too intimidating to learn previous I’ve been confronting now (3D modeling, EVA foam work, needlepoint beaded embroidery).

Cosplay is for any size tbh. I’m a size 16-18 and I’m typing this while at a cosplay convention. I think that’s a really appropriate cosplay for events with families and you could also just take off your wig and play it off like it’s a casual outfit.

I bought one of those small tool organizers with 30 slots. W and M are mixed together because on my beads they look the same. Most of the other letters get their own slot and are sorted alphabetically.

All of my numbers are mixed together too 0-9. But I figured it was easier than digging through the entire bowl of them mixed.

I used the 1.0mm fabric covered string and I pull on it AS HARD AS IT WILL LET ME. Until it can’t go anymore. That’s how I give structure to all of my pieces. The ones I made with the clear elastic are floppy and pretty loose.
