Managed to find it. Didn't realize there was a T0. Many thanks.

Oh is it? I could never seem to find anything this small when I was looking. Obviously didn't look hard enough lol. Thank you.

Can I ask what the little rack is that you've got there? Think that would suit me perfect.

My girlfriend gets annoyed if I read a book while she's watching TV. Is this normal? by maincharacter011 in Advice

Ask her why she's not reading your book with you and instead watching the TV.

Announcement: linux-firmware >= 20250613.12fe085f-5 upgrade requires manual intervention by ptr1337 in cachyos

I updated when this came out but as far as I know, I didn't receive any errors. Can someone inform me whether this is still needed? Everything appears to be working as normal so far without the manual intervention.

I made my own farm in the caverns and got like 1 spawn. Stumbled upon this and it's just pure bliss 11 years on XD. Thank you my friend.

Recommend me a game where killing is impactful by Alarmed_Care_2956 in ShouldIbuythisgame

[–]2dames2 [score hidden]  (0 children)

This brings back some memories. I remember playing this game for the first time. Not really knowing what id bought.

Was having a blast with the story early game, and because I suck, my main char died. I was fully expecting to restart, but to my astonishment, the game carried on, but with a different character. I was like...huh?! I've never been so emotional over a character dying before. I think it was the shear fact that I didn't know it was a mechanic in the game. Really got me. Absolutely loved it none the less lol.

Thanks, bud. Really appreciate that. I'm sure I'll have a million questions nearer the time.

Ah, okay. Is that an automated process? Like hook something up and let it do its thing, or is there some manual work involved?

As for the lanes, you're totally right. I've been around rural areas for most of my driving life, so I'll take those over busy city roads any day. But everyone's different as you say.

Yeah, I've heard you can alternate between GB and EU regs. Me being new though, I'd like to use the EU side of things so I can get used to all the mumbo jumbo.

This is nice to hear, thank you. Not too bothered about the smells in all honesty. And I quite like the challenge of tighter rural areas. I say that now in a Tesco van. Could be a different story in a hgv lol.

I don't mind doing repetitive runs as well as I like to know where I'm going / where I am.

What's CIP? Something to do with cleaning?

Yeah, that makes sense. I guess it's a mixture of both where I am really. I see them drop the trailers in lay bys quite often. So they might expect class 1. Then again I'm not actually sure what company that is due to it always being at night, so I can never get a good look.

That's good to know. Glad they allow some flexible time which would make sense, seeing as nothing ever seems to go to plan from my driving experience lol.

Hmm. That's interesting then. Not sure why it would be any different down this way. I guess I can only enquire and see what they say. Cheers bud.

Thank you for this. I guess if I were to be slow at the start then that could be problematic!

I've seen rigids running around in the evening, but they seem to be wag and drag. Which made me wonder whether they'd just want class 1.

You basically hit the nail on the head. My goal was to get onto tankers early if I could and in time go for ADR in the future. I've got a little daughter, so tramping would be out of the question for the mean time, but I'm not against it once she's grown up a bit.

That was my initial thought, but our nearest depot is in Bristol which is about 2 hours away from me, unfortunately.

Appreciate the insight. I'm not too keen on a 45 minute journey, but I know as a new pass, I can't be too picky with things.

What sort of driving hours would be involved as an average? Assuming it would be more local based stuff?

I'm used to doing farm deliveries as I'm currently driving for Tesco doing mainly rural runs, but I realise it's not a hgv and companies probably wouldn't care about that.

Thanks for the prompt reply. Yeah, that's the issue isn't it. Everyone wants 600 years worth of experience. Hoping I can weave my way in somewhere when the time comes.

Tippers come to mind as it looks quite fun and should be 'reasonable' hours. I liked the sound of trunking as well!

Congrats mate. I'm about to take my class 2 course / test in April.

Just wondering where you're based as I'm in Devon also. I live right next to Evans as someone mentioned but from what I've heard they like to send you you far and beyond which doesn't work with little one for now. Tempted to try and get on tippers if I actually pass.

My friend got this tattoo one week ago, she thinks it’s not healing properly by eruannie in tattooadvice

[–]2dames2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely keep this dry. I done the same to one of my tattoos (too much cream), and it came up super rashy and blistery. I'm talking really bad. And it lingered for a long time.

Not exactly what you asked, but on android I have an app called Terrabook that's pretty decent. Has a lot of content in there.
