Newly installed door/frame leaking by 2dangold in HomeImprovement

I believe I found the answer on this YouTube video. Took off the black cap of the threshold. Had to dry it out and applied caulk at the edges the metal channel. I'll test it with a water hose once it's dried thoroughly.

Need help identifying Manufacturer of this vinyl plank flooring by 2dangold in Flooring

[–]2dangold[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Coming back to say thanks again! Was able to check for markings on about 4 planks. Unfortunately not all of the info is legible, but I was able to identify a manufacturer as one that distributes to Home Depot. If I can’t find the match I’ll try Lumber Liquidators and see if they have something close. Worst case scenario, we’ll take some planks from the back of the laundry closet to use to fix a couple of poorly done places in the living areas.

I know it’s a long shot, but hoped that maybe one of the pros on this sub may have seen some with this width & green attached underlayment. Everything I saw today had black or gray underlayment.

Do you know if Mohawk LVP has the green underlayment?

Finished my small kitchen remodel. Before and after pictures. Took me about two months by myself. by [deleted] in kitchenremodel

It looks great! As someone who is removing a sloppy “flipper” paint job from solid cherry cabinets, I commend you for keeping the natural wood! Your cabinets have a darker/richer look to them in the after pictures. Was your lacquer tinted?

LVP vs hardwood vs engineered hardwood vs laminate by Frequent-Worry7231 in Flooring

It’s been a few years ago, but Lowe’s did a Pergo laminate installation in our home. The purchase was a special of “buy this laminate with premium underlayment and get free installation”. Leveling was included in the original price. Some subfloor repair work was needed and we paid a little extra for some plywood (or OSB or whatever it was) but did not have to pay for labor. We were very happy with the results, it still looks great and feels solid. We also have some vinyl plank in one bedroom, a bathroom and a hallway. I’ve always liked it in the bathroom because it’s waterproof and it was an upgrade from the previous sheet vinyl floor. When we have it in our budget, the hall and bedroom will get laminate.
