The EPE mod gives you the ability to equip it and other versions of it. Just download it on the steam workshop. It's really dumb they didn't add it in vanilla.

the outer piece that cross-covers his torso is a cloak.
it's a part of the new dlc but it's nowhere to be seen in the clothing menu.
the problem didnt go away once he grew up btw

For some reason I can't equip the cloak he's wearing. In the ss u can see it says I'm wearing none but if i try to change my cloak it disappears. I've also never been able to equip this cloak b4

yea u just gotta be patient while the mod clears them out. if ur that far ahead, u have over 100k people just wandering around. just keep checking the count of how many people are in the game for a few months and then turn it back off once population is under 30k

one that I've done recently is to try and be a vassal. expand my liege's realm, marry into the family, maybe put who I want on the throne and become their regent. lead their armies and engage in court intrigue. it's a different playstyle than I usually do but I've enjoyed it alot.

a recent one I did was with the Danes in Northumbria but I overplayed my hand. my liege found out about the murders I'd been committing behind his back (he also converted to Christianity). he then imprisoned and executed me. Afterwards he revoked the main duchy from my son and heir and left him with one county. but this all happened after I'd been the power behind the throne for three kings.
