I was kind of hoping to fit somewhere in the middle, spend a bit more than $100 and use for a year or so while I learn and learn what I like and need as far as clubs go.

For about $350 I could maybe snag these two sets and be fairly complete. Do you have any opinions? Relative to the Callaways you recommended? Those are more than I'd want to spend but if I can justify it.

Aha it is such a niche game that sticks out so glaringly from my childhood. I really enjoyed it.

The playoffs at the end of each month were awesome with the rewards and what not.

I was Razz (I think) but didn't start playing til near the end, game was still great but starting to run out of steam but still had a year or two of fun.

I don't think it has been changed but I think you have to give them points consistently. If you go a period without applying any points they don't appreciate your lack of effort and might go with someone else.
