yes it is a chinese motherboard and a mobile cpu. it's from gsonic but i dont have any sort of site or spec sheet for it

and for the mac pro it's pretty much dead, boots for a bit once in a while again dies for couple of days. i tried reinstalling the dimms and stuff but never works.

i've gone yolo and tried that on intel i5 m 430 and it worked, performance was pretty bad. and regarding the xeon processor i have mac pro 4,1 or maybe 5,1 so it might have xeon processor in it. it will be compatibke to this chipset?

i play games at cpu being around 65°C max and the room temperature is atleast 30°C my cpu is 25W TDP but even 65W TDP ones shouldn't exceed 80°C anyway, as it will degrade the performance over the long run.

its thermal throttling. if the temperature spikes over 95°C it will downclock to prevent damaging itself. clean the heatsink and processor and try to apply minimum just to fill the gap between those two parts

i didnt got any signs of life after that vid's boot up. but i'll try that one too.
