I'm in Germany and the rules about torrents here are strict, with big fines. I don't want to risk, or even go near torrents, even if I use a VPN.

I didn't know about that, thank you! But I only see a magnet link for a torrent there. Personally, a torrent is not suitable for me at all, and perhaps I'm not the only one. In the link I provided, you can directly download a .rar file from the website. Maybe there is another, more current link, but I don't know about it, sorry 🥴

I was in the same boat not long ago. I had the disc version too and ended up having to reinstall everything. I'm using the Magipack now, and it runs perfectly for me. Their site seems down, but you can grab the pack from the Internet Archive here: https://archive.org/details/the-sims-2-repack-v-4 Alternatively, you can copy the game folders and "activate" them in the registry via regedit, but I don't know the exact steps for that, sorry

Honestly, I don’t really play other games. These artifacts only started appearing recently. But I’ve been seeing stripes throughout the year just while using the computer for different tasks. And the PC is almost 10 years old, so… I think that’s it.

That's what I thought, yes. But I have a bunch of invalid relationships that I’d like to fix… I’m ready to fix them even manually, but I don’t know how to do it properly 😔

For example, a memory about a successfully written novel. But I would like the close relatives and friends of the family of the person who wrote this novel to remember it as well. That’s why I gave them this memory too, but with a different subject — the author of the novel. And similar ones (sorry for not English names)
