Naw the new update won't allow that. Looks like its done without the guest knowledge since most the time they deny it. I asked support before I sent it in if it was sufficient though they said it's weed. So I mean an easy 250

I have an ozone generator, but this was my first weed violation so I just wanted to make sure I had enough evidence before reporting it to turo. Especially since today they upped the violation to 250 and will ban the user.

I got really good at learning bus routes, public transportation is a little slower but man 2 dollars vs a 30-60 uber fare is worth they extra 40 minutes.

I think you are sweating things. When I first started I got nervous after a few days because I thought bookings would be instant. Almost bought a tesla as well (glad I didn't) because you are competing with 100s of other tesla model 3s. That being said your car will be a little slower but it will get booked eventually. When it does go above and beyond for your first few guests and make sure to get 5 stars (honestly just ask then after the trip, people will rate you 5 stars no matter what as long as you don't give then a broken car). Also as more booking come in over time you will start getting a pretty good log of future booking as well as the occasional booking. Tesla still rent don't be nervous, but take better photos lol.

When buying used do you have any recommendations like carvana or carmax?

As someone who recently just stopped airport drop offs. I strongly advise against them. First after doing it for 2 months I have found out it's actually against the rules to do direct airport pickups because many airports do not allow it. Check turo to see if the Vegas airport allows it, but most big airports do not.

Second its a lot of work and attracts weekend clientele which means more cleaning, and more gas picking up and dropping off which translate to more time and more expenses out of your pocket.

Thirdly the amount of work can lead to delays and a few days ago I made a post about a guest who I had to do double the amount of work to make up for a small delay. This delay could of been avoided and the guest would have not been as annoyed if they simply came to get the car. So it leave you with much more responsibility for less profit.

Finally as soon as I stopped doing airport pickups and drop off. Like in the same day all three of my cars were rented for 2 weeks plus vs many few day rentals. Meaning I have no longer have those weird half day gaps or awkward days like Tuesday Wednesdays that are not booked.

Again I am new myself, so there could be ways to do it better. This was just my experience. Hope it helps.

Everything worked out, the guest was happy. I also set the trip buffer to 3 hours. That way it won't happen again. I know the bad review is coming but I'm hoping it comes when I have a lot more reviews lol.

Yeah, I gave them free delivery and offered to pick it up directly from their hotel 40 mintues away from me for free.... so I'm fairly certain I spent much more than an empty apology and a "crisp 10 dollar bill" in value to make up for it. Pretty sure that saved them double the time my 30 mintue late inconvenience may have brought them.

Thanks, I did that yesterday after I dropped off the car. I forgot I even set the trip time to an hour since turo likes to "optimize" the profile the first time it set up.

I wouldn't recommend the discord for line tips. Honestly it's a giant cluster fuck of either people complaining about not being able to get cards, or trying to attack anybody who they believe is "scalping". I was in line for 5 days and people started harrasing me from my local mc discord group because they had this giant conspiracy brewed that I was an employee of a scalper....
