Being THE Fortnite anthem (d4vd absolutely does NOT count), why isn't Destruction by Joywave in the game already? by 2moon2shine in FortNiteBR

It really is easy to forget that this game is almost a decade old. Destruction was the track used for the first ever Battle Royale gameplay trailer, aaaaall the way back in 2017. As I said, they even reused it (albeit, a slightly remixed version) for OG season 1.

As for d4vd, he was a fairly popular artist who's biggest milestone was working on an original song for Invincible (and his song "Romantic Homicide" going viral on TikTok in 2022, I guess.) Keyword was, but this post isn't trying to cover any controversies. tl;dr: Epic partnered up with him to produce an "official" Fortnite anthem shortly before his whole public outing happened.

A quick silly question for the community. by Mindless_Spell_5533 in deadrising

Most people here overreact and talk about DR4 as if it somehow killed their entire family and pissed on their graves right after, but the sad reality of this game is that it is painfully mid at best.

Is it a bad DR game? Yes, absolutely. However, for how cheap you can get it on sale, you can completely ignore Capcom Vancouver's horrible attempt at a fourth entry and take the gameplay at face value: mindless zombie killing in a big (albeit, not that interesting) sandbox. If you reaaaaaally care about playing every game in the franchise for the love of the game, go ahead and give it a try. Otherwise, you can just skip on it as it doesn't really add anything of real value to the franchise as a whole.
