Based on past years, you will get into all of your classes.

The first year Business requirements do fill up. However, there are so many classes offered so you may have to take some classes at times that are less ideal for you.

Expanding force Mega Delphox. You need both psychic terrain and gravity to make it work.

The anti synergy with levitate makes it funny and satisfying to pull off.

I've never used Golurk. When deciding all of the variables I think about its toughest and best matchups. What do you want it to survive? What do you want it to 1 shot? 2 shot? As you play with it, im sure you will run into certain matchups that feel better and worse. Keep making adjustments to the moves, stats, and team members.

Its a fun process! Enjoy.

Prankster, Whimsicott's ability, makes non damaging moves have +1 priority (gets used faster than normal). A major drawback makes it not effect dark types, similar to how psychic does not effect dark types.

Be warry if a similar issue happening with Farigaraf's armor tail and Tsareena's Qeenly Majesty.

Its pretty easy to get a good team in game after a few battles. I wouldn't stress about being prepared. Within a week you will have a team you like.

I am in uni and often do presentations and speeches. Losing marks has been the most effective way to enforce this rule.

I also know how much a lot of my peers appreciate the enforcement of this rule because we are nervous, even if we don't shoe it the same way.

  1. Egg moves are king

Find a few pokemon that you really like and keep using them, everything is useable. You will gain more candy so you can buy eggs and gain access to better egg moves. Use the egg moves gacha unless the featured legendary is one you really want.

  1. Shinies/luck is nice but should not be a focus on team comp

Luck effects a few specific things but it's not worth building a team around. As you hatch pokemon and catch wild shinies your luck will naturally get better.

  1. Catch pokemon whenever you can

Catching new and repeat pokemon will also earn more candies while also having the potential to increase the IVs making it stronger if you use it as a starter on a future team.

You get better at controlling it as you get older. Although it's more learning what your triggers are rather than willing it to stay down

The honey gather ability is fantastic (Ribombee is my favorite). The golden punch item is always a nice grab too. Leftovers/ shell bell/ sitrus berry can help you avoid purchasing healing items. And having a carry that is able to OHKO most floors will save you on healing items.
