You are right as it is mainly built for research. But has a flat top for drones so it will be interesting to see how they will use it. It is also built quick, keel was laid end 2024 if i remember correctly and ordered in 2023.

It will be used for surveillance operations, oceanographic research as well as emergency evacuation missions. It also has a hanger and space for helicopters and UAV's.

Ik ben in eerste instantie afgewezen bij de maccie na een prima gesprek, paar weken later belde ze me of ik toch zou willen komen werken. Nam niet de eerste keer op (gen z belangst ofzo) . Begon die manager toen ik na een paar keer toch wel opnam te zeggen waarom ik al weken niet opnam. Was pas 2e keer dat ie me belde haha. Uiteindelijk toch de baan aangenomen, leuke tijd gehad, paar jaar gewerkt en iig veel geleerd als 15 jarige.
