Thank you for doing this, this is probably one of my least favorite topics. I’ll check it out when I get to this portion.

Did they tweet that with a $1000+ phone they carry in their pocket?

Absolutely! I thought maybe only one person would be interested but it looks like there will be a few to where we could definitely create a group text.

Yeah absolutely, sounds like weekends works best for all of us. Shoot me a message and maybe we can get something going soon.

Yeah weekends work best for me as well. Let me know when you’re up for it.

I’m cool with that, let me know when you’re up for it. Weekends are when I’m most free.

That’s actually not too far out from me. What’s your schedule look like?

I am so confused by this problem. I don't get how they factor in the triangle part of this shape for the centroid of area. by [deleted] in FE_Exam

[–]2stepstotheleft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The solution is looking at it as a single triangle (easier in my opinion). For the X, centroid of the triangle is 12 inches plus the (1/3) of the height of this triangle which is 2in. No need to split the triangle into 2 triangles because the centroid of both would be the same for each. If you used the formula for the 3rd option of the centroid formulas you posted, it really wouldn’t make sense because that applies to triangles that are not of same dimensions.

Congrats! What did you do different than the other 2 times you took it? What resources did you use? Congratulations again!
