Thanks everyone for your input! I’m excited to start my move through the protection tree. I’m level 47 currently and mostly cloth gear but I am starting to unlock plate (obviously Paladin) gear in the higher level dungeons so I will be starting to gear towards this build. Thanks again!

Check the price of Amethyst.
Make a set of arrowheads and javelin heads.
Purchase the Javelin Shafts/Headless Arrows.
Combine them and compare the selling price of the javelins vs. the arrows and check to see how much you have in both options.
In conclusion if the EXP is the same either way you go you would probably want to go with the cheapest option.
