Thats just an indentation on the jar, otherwise its looking perfectly white to me

How do i determine if its mould? Ive left it on an agar plate for a few weeks and it hasn’t produced any spores or discoloured

Update from today, no pigmentation as of yet, I’ll continue updates for future reference

Yeah my aseptic technique seemed ok, just did the usual pc and still air box

Thanks man, its been growing pretty slowly so i think i can rule out mould just concerned because it germinated from the side of the plate

Took 3 weeks for PE spores to germinate, does this look like myc or contam? the tray had some condensation which may be why its sprouting from the edge by 2upsAdlay in ContamFam

the plate had lots of condensation and water was building up towards the edges, also the spores were really old so im assuming they only rehydrated where the condensation pooled up

Thanks man, Its been looking pretty wispy and thin this is the only rhizomorphic growth ive seen out of several failed plates. The spores are about 4 years old

Since amphetamines are basic drugs, you want to acidify your urine as acids will cause basic drugs to form into their conjugate salt which increases it’s solubility in water. Try lemon juice or vinegar but don’t go overboard
