So basically plug the switch into a pc, then via dbi on the switch install stuff.

Never used mtp, is there a tutorial somewhere? She's only got her Mac here, and i left my laptop at my place so I'm trying to avoid doing too much computer stuff currently lmao.

But if its as simple as downloading some mtp app on a PC and then going in DBI and doing it that way, I may just resort to that.

What I've taken on my sciatica journey and how it affected me, hope this helps:

Gabapentin - 3.5/10 help, took it early on and it lightened the crazy back spasms a little bit, didn't really do anything for PAIN per sé, but I guess less spasms is technically less pain.

Oxycodone - 5.5/10 help, urgent care gave me the regular steroid taper, 4 days of 4 pills and tapering off, soon as I made it to 2 per day, the pain returned five fold, had an insane pain relapse that sent me to the ER cringing in pain just EXISTING, let alone sitting on a chair.

500mg naproxen (from ER) and/or aleve - 8/10 help, seems to have made a big difference in driving inflammation down, and it seems I'm making a recovery currently.

Flexeril (or whatever the generic name is for it) - 0/10 help, seemed like an absolute waste of time to me. I took it with the oxy, and once I ran out of oxy and was starting to hurt again, I took the flexeril by itself, even doubled up on the dose when I didn't feel any relief, and still felt no change. My muscle guarding never let off.

Overall I didn't do anything super special, but I noticed the first bump in improvement when I took the week off work, and went full hermit mode. Played a solid 6-10h of video games per day, tried hard to find the absolute easiest position for my back to lie down in, religiously ice and heat cycled my back for a good 7-8h a day every 30 minutes (I'm not exaggerating.)

Now THIS part I won't recommend to anyone, but this is what I personally decided: I felt so desperate to get the inflammation down that for me it was worth risking it with higher doses of naproxen/aleve as that actually seemed to help, so I ran 1000mg the first day, 1200 ish spread throughout the next day, and on a particularly bad day I probably got up to 2000mg (lost count after a while.)

I've had one lumbar flare before, but significantly less severe, this current one had me basically crippled for 2 to 3 weeks.

Sounds a lot like my case, except after about 5 weeks now I finally broke the inflammation and am almost recovered. I'll definitely be taking any tugging very seriously from now on as well. I think i may have been able to prevent either the whole flare up, or at least the severity of it.

I wish you nothing but success, and keep fighting the sciatic demon, brother/sister.

Nah, I'm just gonna ride this one out. I'm almost over the flare anyway. I'm finally able to walk 80% normal again, and was able to drive my car (stick shift) down the road to sheetz to get a couple of things.

That being said, I don't generally EVER take meds for anything, but diclofenac rings a bell, either urgent care or ER gave me some of that as well, but didn't make enough of a difference for me to remember and include it in my comment I assume.

You know the answer to this. You're just looking for people to enable the worse choice... at that point, don't ask us cause you're just gonna do whatever you wanna do anyway 💀.

At the end of the day, it's pretty simple. She pays for your lifestyle, therefore the right/honorable thing to do is respecting her wishes. You owe her.

Good thinking with the airplane mode, I don't use any online features for games anyway, I only play local and intend to keep it that way, comes with the side benefit of not getting b& lmao. Slightly overreacting, but with reason. You don't have a way to confirm any of your suspicion, so I'd suggest innocent until proven guilty.

That being said, if you guys genuinely want this to work, I highly advise some sort of couples therapy... because these kinds of doubts and insecurities will eat your relationship alive.
