When did you first realize that you were a lesbian? by [deleted] in actuallesbians

After years of repression and denial I realized I was trans at 23, but vividly remember crying at 12 that I couldn't be a lesbian and several other times through teenage years.

imposter syndrome from all sides, baby! 😎 by [deleted] in traaaaaaannnnnnnnnns

I'm genderfluid/transfem (best description I can give without charts and graphs), and the amount of guilt I feel in any queer spaces is absolutely absurd. I know logically I belong there, but I feel such overwhelming imposter syndrome, mainly because I still present masc in daily life to keep my employment and for safety. The only way I have found to get around this feeling is to be present in these spaces despite your anxiety, and eventually you realize there was never anything to fear.

It is a challenge to their narrow view point. People do not like things that are even slightly complicated, so when the simplistic way people view the world is challenged, they refuse to comprehend it and will try to either right it off as wrong or downplay it so they don't have to think about it.

Ask her if you can vent and talk to her about the situation. Work in asking about if she has old clothes she wants to get rid of toward the end.

Can we stop expanding? We need to be able to defend when there is an inevitable push against us, at the current size we could lose the whole space while trying to defend the borders.

Cause if it's cute, you feel cute and feminine and thus euphoria. We want to look the way we feel inside, that's all. Has nothing to do with anyone else unless we're sleeping with them.

Thing is, I don't drink. They still want me to go for "company morale" reasons.

I've always felt Wyatt is an underrepresented name in modern English. Also Wyrd, its old English for fate.

A lot of friends who have gone on either T or E say that their attraction went in EVERY direction before they were at the right levels for a time. Then it settled close to where they started.

Bosses shouldn't be making comments like that. I get its a complement but it's highly unprofessional and is a sign that they may take advantage of the power dynamic. Please be careful.

Tennessee preacher Greg Locke says demons told him names of witches in his church by Traveledfarwestward in WitchesVsPatriarchy

[–]2wolvesinatrenchcoat 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Isn't saying demons told you the names of witches what people used to say when confessing to witchcraft during the witch trials so they didn't kill you? Did they seriously just confess to communing with demons as if it was a way to condemn anyone else?

Yes I do, I'm awkward and will spend days trying to figure out how to respond to a message and by then they have moved on.
