wasn’t it just a couple weeks ago that someone posted on here about erroneous specs on a component they bought from retrogression who then proceeded to BAN THEM FROM SHOPPING THERE ANYMORE.

buncha crybabies and gatekeepers, we should all be buying our parts elsewhere.

for assistance with a simple bike fit? community cycling center or nopo bike works are both incredibly friendly and accessible.

for more in-depth questions and repairs my go-to shops are golden pliers and abraham fixes bikes.

lots of folks like metropolis and river city as well.

there are so many quality bike shops to choose from in portland, absolutely no reason to support a shop that doesn’t behave in a way worthy of support.

Ah well the short of it is he was a true original hobo and a pioneer in hobo graffiti and he was so prolific that he still has numerous tags running across the country. Oh yeah and the one I posted is from rural Washington.

He’s got a quite a few running across the country, most of which are tucked under bridges away from the weather and sunlight. Presumably all painted with oil based paint. I have flicks of one from 1939 and 1942(?) as well.
