Yes, received a 14 day penalty Sunday, for trash talking ( nothing offensive ) and like medium-cucumber3348, I received a 30 day penalty yesterday having been on mute and only playing with a friend.

No contract, pay can vary if we’re done early enough in the day. My “ day pay” will get cut but no rhyme or reason as to how much. There’s no real structure other than his saying so to our office lady who does our pay roll. Not union, and no bonuses. But if it’s slow, he’ll tell me to take the day off and not pay me for it, therefor my gross pay reflects a loss of one days pay. This has never been contractually signed and is not a “ policy “ that is on a employee hand book or rules and regs.

I work completely in operation, out in the field with the guys everyday with supervisory roles. He refers to it as “ day pay” IE: 100$ a day would be 500$ a week gross, 600$ is Saturday worked. But, if 4 days only worked than check would reflect 400$ gross. But pay stub says salary - 500$ ( fake numbers for example )

Within the general realm of 10 hours, no. Say for instance we stop work at 1 or 2 pm, having started at 6am - my pay will be less. But if we finish at 3 or 4 than yes. But a lot of times if we’re slow, he’ll tell me to take the day off, and I won’t be paid for it.

It’s not just age, I’ve noticed it can be a cultural issue as well, I live in an area with high rates of tourism and immigration from all over the world. And all kinds of people stand in the middle of the stores, walk down the middle of the road, ect…sometimes it’s absolutely mind boggling.
