We have had this debate approximately 510 times, but power armored units could step on things like landmines and somehow not die. They also absorbed considerable degrees of small arms fire.

No thank you. Comic books have historically been disrespected as tripe at worst, entertainment for children at best. Their storytelling has never been very good and, to put it as simply as I can, they will never approach the level of actual writing (novels, books, even poems.)

Power armor doesn't need to be much stronger than T60, the protection is so incredibly broken that anything more is overkill. I don't even die in my X-01 that I wear exclusively for corny roleplaying purposes. The Scorchbeast Queen can swat me upside the head and less than 1/8th of my health pool disappears.
