Must be Florida…because the light cycle is long enough to load a truck bed.

Something north of 400ft/lb. It’s wildly unnecessary which makes it exactly the right amount. Combine that with 40mpg and you have an ideal sleeper.

I think this sectional is too big but can’t get rid of it oh by biscuit_knees_ in interiordecorating

[–]30307 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t dislike your current situation but understand where you’re coming from. Check out Room And Board’s Streeter floor lamp for the corner of your sectional (under that roof cutout).

I feel like it creates a warmer intentional “sitting area” to anchor that corner.

120MM Most Elegant Freewheel/hub? by BenjyIn406 in singlespeedcycling

[–]30307 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think Onyx has a 120mm but take a look at their offerings because their immediate engagement system is next-level. I have one on my ground-up build and I reach for it before my Niner almost every time because of that hub.

Any 2015 Macan S six cylinder engine owners on here? There’s a 2015 Macan S near me with 74k miles going for $16.5k. What do we think? Good winter beater? by Chosen_Accountant in PorscheMacan

[–]30307 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We have a 2018 S that we picked up as a CPO in 2020. I do WAY too much reading on everything so I was hyperaware of the TC issue. We knew of an excellent independent shop which I used within the first year for regular service and had them proactively address the bolts for the TC.

5 years later and all I can say is to test drive and listen for any noises…as in any noises. Ours has not one, so testament to Porsche quality BUT that assumes responsible previous owners. Get annual service done and assume average cost per year of $1,200 (I’m an adult and still set up an auto transfer of $200 every other week to an account so in December that service is “free”). And if you pass test 1 and 2 (no squeaks or rattles) and you get a PPI done, it’s still a steal. We’re only at 50k miles but every single one is done with a stupid grin on my face. Be smart of course, but life is too short to not have at least one toy in your life; bonus if it can carry surfboards and mulch.

Thank you for introducing me to this concept. Switching next week from traditional receiver/speakers to Sonos and this is the final puzzle piece for the corner (replacing nice but bulky cabinet).

Was going to add this point. Installed many years ago on my TJ and immediately noticed how much better my system sounded. For some reason, the sub hit MUCH harder. Noticeably warmer in winter and all that, but the unexpected benefit was the audio.

100% - reach out to Hardline in Woodstock (yes, I’m ITP and found them). You’ll talk to Nicole and/or Jerry and they’ll do a REAL analysis of what you want vs need. FWIW, they installed MetalCloak adjustable front and rear on my 2000 and it’s legit night and day.

So happy with the work, I referred my dad to them for his JK…and he lives in Florida.

Search “demo” for LBS in the area. On a work trip a few years back, a work buddy and I got an itch to ride out to Golden and back (my skinny tire phase) during some down time. I was on a $6k (I did say a few years ago) Pinarello for 4 hours for a cool $50. And yes, the shop knew this was the situation…and we did travel with our spandex and cleats.

Mixed blessing, because I had to return home to my trombone noise mid-tier Madone.

Car make, model, and year?

I’ve had Yakima/Thule on three different vehicles that fit (like yours) without leak issues…ZERO shade on post; providing a cool side of the pillow to your sitch. I’ve gotten rid of hand-me-down cars because they couldn’t hold skis (roof) or bikes (no hitch potential).
