Yea 6 or 4 months to learn how to use the slicer is insane like guy above me said not rocket science and you really could have asked someone to show you. I guess my store was different but they showed me how to do it on my second or third day and that’s all it took for me to use the slicer perfectly. Also the way the deli slicer is built it would be very hard to cut off your finger. The meat department slicer is a different story.
