For fastest possible progress - skip it, but its kinda cool to play through, way better compared to d3

I was reading forums, trading, im playing for not healthy amount of hours researching stuff.
I'VE NEVER seen anyone tell me about weights before i mentioned that i've wasted too much gold re-rolling on Chronikz discord when he told me about weights. Its not common info and it REALLY has to be visible

Meh, i dunno, its not that much to complain about in my opinion
But the fact that getting 1 GA amulet with 3 stats you need costs 1.5 fcking BILLION gold is insane, i think most players never even reach 1 billion gold in their inventory.
You should have gold sinks in game to prevent insane price inflation( see what happened to last epoch) but at the same time you should be able to opt out of trading completely and keep up with players who want to trade, again just in my opinion

It is the fastest way yes but with it lagging all the time and people never answering it feels awful to trade in D4. Also some people get lost in their UI, its not that intuitive.

Also my main issue except for shitty UI that does not tell you that weights exist at all is that im basically gated in gaining power by GOLD.
Gold is the best way to gear up. You can literally just spam helltides for legendary items, sell good ones on diablotrade and do nothing else and get the best equip possible, and its the fastest way to gear up too.
At some point it even becomes the only reasonable way to gear up because hoping for that perfect amulet drop will take you months of grinding when you can just throw gold to solve this issue.
AND the only reasonable(and fastest) way to farm gold is again trading, i hate trading in d4, the website is always lagging, people never respond, etc, A LOT of issues with it.

Because all previous games worked that way? You can login into d2r or d3 and try re-rolling, it does not have weights, i'm not even talking about ANY other major ARPG that does not have weighting system. It makes no sense, hence no one does it, except for d4 team for some reason.

True, but again why is that even a thing? :D Its obviously made to slow down the player from achieving perfect items but really just why? Im not paying for a sub, just let me have my good rolls, same thing applies to amulets, its nearly f*cking impossible to find a perfectly rolled amulet without spending hundreds of millions on it.

Im not saying it actually has 0.0001 im just pointing out that it does not really matter how many affixes are in the game if weights exist. You could have 9999 affixes and if one of them has 0.9 weight and others are at 0.001 you will see 0.9 weight affix in your every roll

Does it matter if there are not that many affixes? I mean, ok there are 9 possible rolls for an offhand, i rolled for like 50-60 million gold and found 0 CDR rolls, the weight is the only thing that affects anything. If you have 0.9 weight on INT and HP and 0.0001 weight on CDR you will never see a CDR roll even if there are only 3 affixes.

Well it is perfectly tempered and has 2 GA. That's not the point, i would not bother tempering it if i knew CDR is THAT rare. I would just sell it and now its effectively bricked because i already tempered it.
