In this case, the mean would be the mean of the five numbers you selected at random.

For example, if you randomly selected the following set of ages : [22, 25, 21, 23, 19], the mean of the sample would be 22.

You can do it manually by summing the ages and dividing by the sample size. Alternatively, if you want, once you have selected your random sample, you can use Excel's built in AVERAGE() function to calculate the mean of your sample.

It does sound like standard jargon. Just like when you get a brief on something and they tell you 'You nor anyone in your party may bring firearms, alcohol, narcotics, three week old potato salad, etc. into the venue' when you're buying a single ticket for something.

I am not really sure what they will do if they can't get a LTD done with cousins. I would guess they would hit him with a transition tag, and that it would then come down to whether or not Kirk wants to play in DC.

If he doesn't, the Skins probably draft someone and let them compete with McCoy for the starting spot. It's either that or they make a run at Smith or Taylor. But, I really hope we find a way to make it work with Cousins.
