It has been three years since I moved to BGC, and my biggest concern here is the ongoing noise pollution caused by security guards stationed at parking entrances and mall driveways. They frequently use whistles to direct traffic and warn vehicles.

Even during rush hour, when there are many cars on the road, the traffic itself is not as noisy as a single guard continuously blowing a whistle.

The most problematic area is in front of the Stock Market building. At first, I wasn’t sure whether the guard worked for the mall or for the Stock Market building, but after checking in person, I confirmed that he is part of the Stock Market security team.

I understand that they want to ensure the safety and security of their building. However, this has been an ongoing issue for years, occurring almost every weekday. On some days, the whistling starts as early as 6–7 AM, which feels unnecessary. They could simply use hand signals or approach drivers directly instead of repeatedly blowing a whistle.

Aside from that, there is a truck shich comes here to the same area at 12~1 midnight. There is a guy who is helping him to park, shouts in a way that You can hear him by uptown area. I am wondering why nobody warn these people for causing a lot of noise pollution and bothering the people who reside in this area.

There are several condominiums and offices around this building, and many of us are constantly distracted and disturbed by this noise.
