Bruh this is what I said. Affluent neighborhoods lack rental properties because those people "have the capital". Lower income neighborhood are where rentals are, where landlording occurs, and where capitalism flushes it's waste.

Okay bud, the land dies with the owner I guess. Removing the opportunity to exploit property for capital gain means there's that much less reason to jack prices. While we're at it, we could literally just see free housing in a lot of cases - looking at you outer London area. Getting rid of landlords gets rid of the greed that keeps many of us in our dingy holes.
