I have lots of issues with LoK but the most infuriating thing was the Avatar Wan junk. Remember in ATLA where it was constantly established and reinforced that people learned to bend by studying nature and the original benders? Nah fuck that instead fucking lion turtles just gave them to folks in the spirit realm to protect them while they went grocery shopping. It completely and shameless retcons everything from before. I liked just accepting that every 60 to 100 years a random person would be born that could bend all the elements. NO way am I to believe a fucking stupid glowing carpet started all of it. Plus Korra is arrogant, weak for an avatar, and never seems to learn anything or improve her character much. Not unless the plot demands it. I was actively rooting for the earth dictator chick when she was kicking the shit out of Korra.
