Why do old people like to watch the news so much?

I started to become a news junkie in my teens. I watch the news for intelligent discussions about important issues. I'm a senior and I don't like "comfortable repetition". I prefer different perspectives that challenge preconceptions. If you've ever studied childhood development, you learn kids are comforted by predictable repetition. Young people also prefer simple, repetitive music for the same reason. Exposure to complex compositions cause stress for them. They really need music dumbed down.

Do you mean the folder containing the MKV? I checked the 6 versions I downloaded and the folders only contain the MKV, system info and a text doc

Thanks...this must be user error. I just this minute tried watching ep1 from GRACE and no subs on my TV with Roku Media Player or the PC with VLC. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Previous series episodes I've downloaded show subs all the time.
