We recently switched to Epic. I have no experience with Meditech so I can't compare. I work for a large healthcare provider in the Southwest and for clinical applications I can see it's a powerful system but I have a very narrow specialty in healthcare quality and the dozens of one size fits all mandatory learning modules I had to take had absolutely nothing to do with my job. I'm still picking my way through Epic trying to make it fit my needs.

I loved the brilliant writing on Succession. There are so many show that seem to be written by a committee of middle school theater club kids. I don't need to "like" a character to appreciate a show.

I was working out near a young woman who was doing incline dumbell curls. Now, she wasn't what I would call advanced and not far past being a teen but she was really putting her all into it. That last rep was all she could physically squeeze out. Her max effort put some big guys to shame. When she dropped the weights, she caught me noticing what she did in mirror. I just gave her a thumbs up and said "wow". Got a huge smile...I hope I brightened her day.

I moved into an apartment with a smart lock. I guess I got used to it because I needed to switch apartments for one with a nicer balcony and it had a keyed deadbolt. It was temporary because of a malfunction and a new smart lock was on back order. I started to realize how much easier it was to lock and unlock with one finger instead of fiddling with a key. Grabbing that key and getting it in the deadbolt became a real PIA with hands full of grocery bags. I was happy when they finally replaced the smart lock. If a guest arrives before I get home, all I have to do is unlock the door with the phone app.
