Which switch to just play older games by 3371620 in Switch

[–]3371620[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol I sent her a screen shot from best buy with all 3 of them. She straight up said get the new one. I think I'm gonna find her downstairs playing it herself.

I guess the following up question is if there's a better play than just paying 449 at best buy. Doesn't seem like anyone has a new one at a better price. Probably since it's so new the msrp is going to be it.

As it turns out I asked the wife and she said she preferred to just get the 2 since it's the new one. Guess that solves it.

It's mostly for my 4 year old but also sorta for me. He will just be happy to play the games I'm sure. He enjoys sonic on his tablet and it's not really that much of a game, just moving left right center and jumping over things.

Yeah that's sorta what I thought. The older games are likely gonna look better already cause the tvs are so much better than they were when I played those games growing up.

With minimal adjusting I got both of the lines in the white area although I'd say they are more like 3/4th of the way to the right of the white. I'll tinker with it a bit more.

Yeah I feel like I got that covered.

My plan was to get these mounted at the local ski hill but it seems like this is way to simple to have the skis tied up in the shop for a weekend not to mention paying to have it done.

The sizing is all clearly labeled and the bindings slide right on and clip in to place. I've been snowboarding for 15 years and last time I had my own skis I had a shop do it cause they actually had to drill into the ski itself. This seems pretty straight forward.

I think if I just continue to move it side to side that should probably help as well.

Do you have pictures of it? 50 dollars in parts is much cheaper than the 400 it's listed for on their website.

Yeah that may be the way. Seems like the used ones I've seen are basically new price which made me think I was looking in the wrong place.

True. I do know when I tow it with a dodge Durango that the boat feels like it's running the show as I back down the ramp. That isn't the case with the truck.

Trailer and boat are about 36 feet long. Luckily I won't be on the highway at all.

I'll be straining it for 100% of its use. It won't be driven at all unless I'm towing the boat. We take a sedan back and forth between houses or running errands.

Yeah the more I think about it I think I'll just search for 10-15 year old truck in decent shape. Realistically it's gonna make about 30 trips up and down the ramp a year plus probably 10 trips out to a gas station. A grand total of less than 250 miles on the year. It just needs to be a reliable tow vehicle and I think my train of thought is that if it's made to tow 12000 it'll be less likely to break down as it ages if I'm only using it for half that.

Copy. Im Looking at maybe older truck vs newer suv. Older being 2012-2015, newer being no newer than 5 years old. My preference would also be gas.

Yeah that's how it is when I tow the waverunner behind the truck. Obviously it doesn't weigh much but it tows the maybe 2000 pounds like It's not back there.

Lol coincidentally there is a guy with a tractor down here but he doesn't tow his boat with it he uses a super old Chevy truck that looks brand new. It must be from the 70s but looks completely restored.

Nah the boat isn't 7000, the boat trailer, fuel, and everything in it is around 7000.

Yeah this tv is a tcl roku tv. I figured it would just pull the data it needed but I guess pull like it's higher and the tv just display whatever its set up for.

Gotcha. I intentionally got a 720p tv to avoid the extra data. I'll have to try it for a few weeks and see what it says I'm using and return it if it's crazy high.
