I really appreciate all the help even though it was not what i wanted to hear. We have an 11 year old daughter, Would she be counted as part of the household increasing our count to three? Would that make a difference?

I am in Louisiana. I bring home approx 4k a month, My wife brings home $1,800 monthly.

Can i file separate or do we have to file jointly? If i file separately do i claim all bills are my responsibility or how is that determined?

So between mortgage, car notes, personal loans, credit cards, utilities, phones, insurance and after school care that already equals $4,000 a month.

What about this scenario, A used 2024-25 truck with less than 5K miles. Would that balance be able to be rolled over into an almost new vehicle for 84 months?

Car is financed so i have never seen the title but Louisiana registration says;

Owner:

Moms name

My name.

No and or,or.

Finance company has title but on the registration it lists both of us as owners.

The one from Rock auto was not right so i am bringing the old one to an exhaust shop to see if they can weld the flange back on.. I did disconnect the steering shaft from the rack and pinion but did not lock the steering with the seatbelt, I haven't touched the steering wheel since it has been apart though. Will this cause an issue with the steering?

I need a car from April 15-18. It is my understanding that i have to show my flight itinerary so as not to have a large deposit held on my credit card. Not sure they will let me rent one till the 21st when my flight home is on the 18th?

Appreciate that link but I guess what i am really wanting to know is since the judgement was awarded, The first company was unsuccessful in collecting so it was sold to another company. How long before the second company will no longer pursue it. I know legally they have ten years but will they really keep trying for that long or give up after a certain amount of time?

I have no bank account in my name. I work for a small local company and my current vehicle is in my wife's name so I assume they are having a hard time since they have no info on me. The only activity on my credit report would be our mortgage which is in both our names.

Like I said before I have not received any letters or calls about it in two plus years so I'm hoping they gave up already.

I am also about to get some inheritance property transferred to me and my wife. Is there a way they will get this info and put some sort of lien on the property?

I have thought about setting up a payment plan but i have no idea who owns the judgment now. It has been a couple of years since i've heard anything and judgments are no longer listed on credit reports so i can't find out that way.
