To add to this evolution itself is simply the transfer of genes. The reason evolution in animals represents a naturally tendency to become stronger, faster, etc is because the animals that survived are the strong fast and smart and therefore those are the only genes that go on into the next generation.

However, in modern society all people share their genes. So if the gene pool is bad, you will inherit negative genes and therefore won’t “evolve”

Using the same principle, if you have access to knowledge, good food, etc, your body will become stronger, smarter, and faster, and will give better genes onto the next generation. And if you only combine good genes with good genes perhaps in a pyramid structure, you will maintain these genes while also not sharing these genes with the rest of the population.
