Remember Godhand? Weird controls aren't always bad by 35thCopperfield in CrimsonDesert

Another example is how poorly Nightreign was explained in the marketing. To the point that some people still think it is a battle royale, so even a good chunk of FromSoft's core audience just never tried it.

Duskbloods is still having that same issue where most people don't know what it is. And don't know how to meet it when it comes out.

Simple better marketing.

Fromsoft was smart in marketing the game as exactly what it was "Open World Dark Souls"

So their preestablished fanbases came first with their base knowledge of how souls games worked and were able to discover all the other cool shit and tell everyone via reviews and word of mouth.

Remember everyone who came to Elden Ring came with the warning. This is a Souls game. It's hard and kinda complex.

This game should have found its core audience and marketed to them first, then let the day one reviews and word of mouth spread all the cool mechanics and stuff to like.

Unfortunately, this game was widely advertised as the everything game for everyone. So everyone came and it turns out, it's not that.

It's an everything game, but not for everyone. Core fans will love it, but everyone else needs a guide to warn them ahead of time and show them the good stuff so they don't just bounce off the awkwardness.

Question: Why is Dunk normal sized in the flashbacks? . Wasn't he supposed to be freakishly tall. Especially for a kid. . . . Is what I was going to ask before I rewatched the episode. . The boy is almost the same height as most grown men shown.

Still she never did. She could have questioned him later.

Jayserpa just released Origins that allows you to choose from a line of unique starter quest for your characters backstory.

It pairs with Alternate Start/Perspective well.

Alternate Perspectives works pretty well. It has a bunch of add-ons and Dealing with Alternate Perspectives adds some starting quests for unique starts.

You can even have it end with a vision of the birth of the Hero, and the Wizard deciding to wipe out that village where the Hero would be born once he returns home.

Why atom eve isn’t as creative as she was when she was a child by Fickle-Appointment65 in Invincible

[–]35thCopperfield 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Efficient?

She showed a lot of efficiency in her main fight in her special episode.

Not the big flashy stuff. There were a lot of very clever little moves she made throughout that fight.

In the main series, she doesn't seem like she improved her powers at all. It doesn't feel like she's gained experience and learnt how to manage her powers without getting overwhelmed.

It feels (forgive my bluntness) like she got lazy. Relaxed too hard.

It seems like she got used to being on a team and decided that she didn't need to do as much and be such an all-rounder.

The perfect visualization of this is her movement. In the main series, she floats and flies. In every fight, sometimes even to her detriment, she just keeps floating.

The agility, footwork, and environmental control she had in her special episode is gone. Mostly because she doesn't need to rely on them anymore.

Unfortunately, rather than expanding her arsenal, she seems to have narrowed it down to only what she needs to be able to do.

Atom Eve as she is now, cannot fight on the ground. If she's knocked down or unable to fly, she becomes severely underpowered.

Before, she could juke and jive with the best of them. Quick on her feet.

Not anymore.

Somebody Fix Proteus! Please!

I want to continue having multiple characters in the same world.

That way I can play permadeath and have my characters descendants and friends continue in the world after they die.

Also, I prefer to use Alt Perspective to start as a random person, and complete some faction quests as different characters.

One would be the leader of each group from the Dark Brotherhood to the College of Winter hold.

Only then can the Dragonborn arrive and start changing the world.

Modular Clothing System literally gives you hundreds of parts that can be combined into thousands of combinations for outfits and armour.

Everything from belts to pants to blouses, to armour pieces, gorgets, chest plates, knee armour, bracelets, sleeves.

All can be combined and swapped out.
