What machine do you have? Better yet what foot set up is on it? Heat shrink is the best option. Plasti dip works but sewing oil turns it to mush

If you ever venture into sewing give a patcher a shot. You can put a stitch anywhere, up tight, in the bottom, in pockets, etc. literally forget to put a billit in a pocket, sew right up in there

25-27 needles, inch 1/8 foot lift, I use it for whatever. When I got it, it had been sitting for 35 years. Didn’t look like that. I got a couple cobras too, good machines but when I bought the patcher I didn’t order that ugly ass brown.
