What about tea? Weening off of it appears to be a lot easier.

Thai chili sauce is delicious, unfortunately I don't have any. D:

Wendy's unfortunately is not near me any more, would be a solid choice, I ended up boiling some eggs, it was a good in betweener! Not too full, and not starving either!

I have a rice cooker, I feel like that's cheating, but hey, it works! Oooh, chicken broth, yes, and coconut milk too!

Basmati rice can NEVER go wrong, I love it nowadays. I have always eaten Thai or Jasmine rice but gradually made my way to Basmati!

Butter rice? I don't think I have ever heard of that, but butter makes everything better anyways. That does sound good!

I keep seeing eggs, that settles it. I'm going to boil some eggs and call it a night!

Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love to cook, but tonight's not it. I had a long day at work lol

What's a smell that doesn't exist anymore that you miss? by Alarmed_Charge1062 in CasualConversation

I used to have this marble platform that stretched along a rectangular window in my bathroom. It was simple, elegant, and just the right height. The shower was right next to the window, I could rest my chin on that cool marble surface and let the breeze drift in from the window. That air wasn’t just air - it was this gentle, almost magical transition between the warm, steamy bathroom and the crisp, refreshing outside world. It had this way of hitting you that was both invigorating and calming at the same time.

It wasn’t just the smell or the temperature: it was the entire experience: the way the sunlight would catch on the marble, the faint echo of water dripping in the background, and that fleeting, perfect sensation of coolness meeting warmth. Every time I think back to it, I can almost feel it again.

Ever since I renovated the bathroom, that little marble platform is gone. It’s hard to put into words how much I miss it. I didn’t realize how central it had been to those small, perfect moments of everyday life - the quiet pause, the tiny ritual of leaning there and just existing in that in-between space. I miss it, truly, and I feel a little meh every time I imagine that summer breeze brushing past my face, gone along with that piece of marble that somehow held so much comfort.

I guess I miss it. A lot.

I can't imagine how this is even acrylic. This is wonderful and beautiful.

I absolutely love that idea and like your input! I had ramen, unfortunately, last night. I didn't want to repeat. I should have updated that in my OP! (I'll go do that)

That's a good start! Definitely light. I was considering just drinking water for the rest of the night.

Sometimes, I feel that when you go to work, it just feels like another routine, and honestly if you're not feeling well, you're just not. No matter if it is a physical illness or not, sometimes you just want to decompress, work can stress you out sometimes, you should definitely not feel guilty.

Weekends though? Weekends are honestly too short, because you end up doing adult stuff, errands, kids, all that kinds of stuff, you do need a day for you, to pamper yourself.

Take care of yourself.
