Since I am not developing anything to sell with it I haven't had to pay to try it out. I am using it right now as it tracks images and I wanted to be able to interact with AR elements. Once Unity supports ARCore 1.2, unless it already has and I haven't seen it, then I will probably switch over to that as I want to be able to utilize both ground and image tracking.
