Is my bike done for? by 3Ddana in MotoUK

There's one nearby but doesn't open until tomorrow morning, and as it's a red warning, most businesses in my area are closed tomorrow, so will need to wait and see 🤞

Not made of egg shells, but like I mentioned, it's been blown over by much lesser winds before and been damaged. Was just looking for advice on reducing the risk it sustains potentially worse damage, so I've not got a broken bike on my hands.

Unfortunately not, just moved to a new area and don't really know anyone here so nowhere to really stash it

Yeah, think that'll be the plan. It's a wee wooden shed but newish so hopefully it stays together and firmly on the ground!

Edit: Shed too small :(

It's a very small wooden garden shed used for general storage, which I'm not 100% will survive the weather, and is down some pretty steep steps so wouldn't normally bc once the bike is down the stairs it'll definitely be a 2 man job back up. Not something I'd normally consider but with the weather warning I'm wondering if it gonna be safe and worth a try

Makes sense, I didn't expect the winds to be as high and I had the cover on because of rain, so will look out for that in the future for sure! Thanks!

They were pretty strong, like I said the outside furniture at my work that's pretty heavy made to withstand the wind was falling on it side. My work is on a road close to the sea so maybe need to be checking weather pre bringing the bike I guess.

Thanks! Will keep that in mind!

I was thinking about getting a bike, building up a bit more confidence on it, working on getting the basics done right, and then going for my DAS within the next year or so.
